We hope as you continue on your health journey to start the new year that you’re also taking time with loved ones and friends. Through the month of February schedule a Pilates Duet for the price of a solo. So depending on which fabulous Pilates instructor you decide to work with, the price will be between $30 and $42.50 per person. This is a great way to strengthen your bodies and bonds. COMINGS AND GOINGS AT PINNACLE
Just a reminder that as Ceriah and Paul move on to new professional endeavors (we wish them all the best in the future) we have added several new staff members to our community.
Ane Robinson is a doctoral student of Physical Therapy at the University of Utah. She will be with us an intern until February 20th offering Physical Therapy for $30 per hour. This an affordable way for you (or someone you know) to get healthy and back to doing the things you love.
Scotty Hardwig has an extensive background in dance and recently moved back to Salt Lake from San Francisco. He got right to work instructing at the University of Utah and also happened to accept a position with us. Scotty is available for Gyrotonic® solos, which have become quite popular with our Pinnacle folks.
Emily Monroe-Jones offers something a bit unique for our clinic. If you’ve attended any of our many Functional Fitness classes you may have already worked with her. Emily has an extensive background in personal training but has continued to push her skill set forward and is trained in CoreAlign, Oov, TRX and many other modalities.
If you’re looking to expand your exercise repertoire beyond Pilates, call the front desk (801.583.5692) to schedule today!
T-Shirt Promo
Hey, did you know we have super cool Pinnacle t-shirts available. This is a special deal for those of you who have read to end of the newsletter, say “snuggle-bug” and get your shirt for half off! Sure you could mumble something about the t-shirt promotion and still get the shirt for $6 but Blair and Cameron could use a good laugh, so get into the spirit and say “snuggle-bug”.

Feldenkrais

A Feldenkrais Method class
Breathe Again
Mondays 7-8 PM for 8 weeks
After the inversions and red air days, our lungs are hurting. Shallower breath leads to anxiety and lower energy. Get your full energy back, and feel more energized. Start off your Spring with more focus, more resilience, better health, and more mental clarity. Feel smarter, more athletic, calmer, and sleep better.
This is a Feldenkrais Method class. It will be very gentle, fun and effective. If you can make it into the building to class, you are strong enough to benefit. Bring a large towel or small blanket. Dress in soft, warm clothes- we will not be working outso you can be comfortable resting quietly or moving.
Dan Schmidt is a Feldenkrais practitioner. He has been teaching and doing hands on work with people for over 20 years. Healthy breathing is a passion for him.
You can see video of him teaching by clicking on the link below http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s35au-pURHk
You can learn more about his approach by visiting http://somadan.com/
Class is $150 prepaid for 8 weeks or $25 drop in (if space permits)
If you have concerns or would like to reserve a spot
please call Dan at 801-694-4086.
