Pilates Reformer/Tower Classes
Limited to 8 participants. These classes are $25/hour.
- Pilates Reformer/Tower Intro: This is a one-hour introductory class intended to assist the client in becoming familiar with the reformer/tower equipment, and to begin application of the Pilates principles in their own body in preparation for starting a successful Pilates program on the equipment.
- Reformer/Tower I: This class is designed to introduce clients to the Pilates apparatus. Consistency and repeated practice of the Pilates principles are necessary for you to achieve benefit from this movement form. The Reformer augments the mat work and requires the ability to integrate all Pilates principles into your movement
- Reformer I/II: This class is designed to move along at a quicker pace and assumes the client is familiar with the basic Pilates Reformer repertoire and able to make some individual self-modifications to optimize their movement environment. We will improve transitions, breathing, and endurance in a challenging and moderately paced class.
- Reformer/Tower II: This class is designed for those clients who are able to safely and efficiently complete the intermediate Reformer repertoire including transitions, rhythmic breathing, and equipment adjustment.
- Reformer/Tower II/III: This class is a dynamic continuous workout including all intermediate Reformer repertoires. We will explore advanced exercise and improve clients’ stability and neuromuscular control. *Must train at least 2 times per week and have instructor recommendation.
- Reformer/Tower III: This class is designed for those clients who are familiar with all of the Pilates Reformer exercises and transitions, and can perform them with technical skill and safety. In this class, participants will be guided through the full reformer repertoire in the advanced form with continuous flow through exercise to increase endurance & neuromuscular control. * Instructor recommendation required to participate at this level.
